I am very proud to work pretty closely with Officer Diaz and her volunteers with these horses. The horses listed on my page are the ones which are more easily adoptable and in the custody and care of the Skagit County Sheriff's Department and volunteers. The harder cases go to a rescue facility such as People Helping Horses for their rehab.
Donations to help the continuing care of our equine companions in need
I am collecting blankets, halters, and lead ropes. If you have extras, please donate. The horses also need supplies and medications. I will sell at my cost any product I carry if you want to buy from me to donate. Contact info on the Horses for Adoption page or email Westman Farrier Service.

Ripley’s Horse Aid Foundation is a 501-C-3 charity that focuses on neglect prevention for equines. Developing innovated programs, the foundation works in cooperation with Animal Control Officers, quality care equine rescue facilities and the horse owner.
